Clair Crosby is a minor character in the 2006 remake of Black Christmas. She was the half-sister of Leigh Colvin and a Delta Alpha Kappa sorority member, being roommates with Melissa Kitt. Clair was the first victim to die in Billy and Agnes Lenz's killing spree, as well as being the first sorority sister overall. She was portrayed by Leela Savasta.
Biography[]
It may be hinted that she is friends with Lauren Hannon, when Melissa Kitt tells Lauren that Clair got her a snow globe that plays "Dance Of The Sugar Plum Fairy" for a Christmas present. We know nothing else about her. But she may get along with all her sorority sisters, and maybe even her half-sister, Leigh Colvin.
Death[]
Clair's death at the hands of Agnes Lenz. Her corpse is later found in the attic.
In the opening of Black Christmas (2006), it shows Lauren sitting in front of her window drinking beer and smoking. Next to her, on another window, Clair is seen in her bedroom with her hands filled with stuff. In Clair's bedroom, she is on the floor drinking a glass of wine and writing in a Christmas card with a gift for her half-sister, Leigh. Clair soon notices clothes in the half-open sliding closet starting to move. She gets up and checks them, only to find out it's the sorority house's heater vent making them move. She goes back to what she was doing afterwards. While wondering what to write in the card, Clair looks for a pen she was using prior, but can't find it. As she turns around, a figure shoves a trash bag over her head. She screams and struggles to get free. The figure then stabs her deep in the right eye with the pen she was using, killing her. She also has her eyes ripped out off-screen.
Aftermath[]
After Clair is killed, her corpse is taken up to the sorority house's attic and placed on a rocking chair, which Megan Helms later discovers after hearing noises up there, before she is abruptly killed upon doing so by the same figure who killed Clair.
Her corpse is later found again by Kelli Presley and Leigh, who had came to the sorority house to check up on Clair due to not having received a call from her, when attempting to fight Agnes in the attic and getting knocked back after Kyle Autry's death, to which they react with hysteria.

- Clair is based on Clare Harrison from the original Black Christmas (1974), and once again, she is the first person to be killed.
- Unlike the original Clare, this version does not have any lines.
